Date night outfit!

Last night my husband and I finally had our date night thanks to my sister-in-law Becca that offered us free movie tickets to see Friends with Benefits. I wanted to do something really different with my hair and I came across a picture of Hedi Klum and Gwen Stefani with these really cute knots in their hair. I wanted to try and recreate this using my super cute neon bobby pins I got on sale at J Crew for 4th of July weekend. I decided to wear my favorite dress from h&m and I styled it with a jean jacket from the Gap my tribal sandals I got from DSW.com and gold jewelry.

Dress: H&M
Neon bobby pins: JCrew
Jean Jacket: Gap
Sandals: DSW
Jewelry: Flea market/ thrifted

After wearing the outfit for a while, I don't why, but I felt it didn't go well with the hairstyle so I decided to change. I grab my hot pink Banana Republic sweater (which I LOVE) and Banana Republic belt. I changed my shows to these really cute black leather ballet looking flats by Blowfish I got at Dillard's. I finished the look by shortening the necklace and adding a cuff (my cuff is a necklace I wrapped around my wrist and turned it into a cuff) for a more polished and put together look. My make up is very simple, shimmery pink eyeshadow with black mascara, bronzer on my cheeks and light pink lip gloss.

Dress: H&M
Neon bobby pins: JCrew
Sweater: Banana Republic
Belt: Banana Republic
Shoes: Dillard's
Jewelry: Flea market/ thrifted

  1. I love the hairstyle. I wish I had the patience to do something like that! Cute bobbie pins. I need to find something like that and do a messy look with them.
